I was sauntering up and down the aisles in the food hall at Marks & Spencer yesterday evening. This aimless exercise took about twenty minutes as I was deciding on what to have for dinner. You know what it’s like when one simply cannot be arsed with the cooking let alone the thought of having to wait for a ready cooked meal to be heated in the oven for half an hour.
Obviously an aversion to all matters regarding anything that resemble a piece of cake wasn’t too forthcoming.
Cake lovers- it was caramel and hazelnut and £2.39 (not bad considering, well pound for pound anyway; my resulting weight went up by 2.39 lbs.).

How I miss good old Marks & Spencer. The first one opened in Cologne and then another one in Dortmund and then all of them were closed down. :-(
good lord - did you eat it all at once?
Lizzie- errm...yeah I did. Two reasons- I didn't moniker Fat Les for no reason and the cake was only 6"! Happy binge ;D
